These Essential Standards for English/ Language Arts documents include the essential standards for all grades K-12.
Work Samples
Work samples are required as a local performance assessments each year in grades 3-8 and at least once in high school.
Notes about Work Sample:
- Grade 3 students are not held to a standard in Sentence Fluency.
- Voice and Word Choice may be scored but are not required traits. Exemplars reflect expectations at each grade level.
